Cobb county in northern Atlanta has a few hundred thousand of the most pretentious people I've encountered.

when I was in KC about 5 or 6 years ago, people that lived there generally seemed to dislike it. I'm considering this to be progress.

I love KC, but I also lived in a bunch of crap towns growing up: Plainview, TX; Ft. Morgan, CO; Sioux City, Iowa; Eudora, Garden City, etc.

Ft. Morgan, CO

 :barf:

How bad could it really be?
Hour away from Denver and the mountains. Garden City and Plainview were way worse.

Anyone that claims Austin isn't snobby is not elite enough to actually know.

Except I have family that lives there, and it's not snobby at all.

The women in Austin outnumber the men, and most of them are DTF.  Just take my word for it, wacks.

Quote
"Travel and Leisure" recently assessed America's snobbiest cities, using a variety of factors, such as "reputation for aloof and smarty-pants residents, along with high-end shopping and highbrow cultural offerings like classical music and theater." Also, "tech-savviness, artisanal coffeehouses, and a conspicuous eco-consciousness,"

Good grief, people. It's nothing to do with pretentious residents. It's everything to do with Kansas City being on the list of most educated and cultured places in the entire universe.

Oh, I've been there and have dated a few from that area. I totally agree, but they do love their city, which they should.

Name surrounding states with something better: Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Iowa, etc.
