Look like complete crap through the beginning of summer league, then ramp up starting at midpoint and really end at least mediocre to decent by the end of summer. Coaches will think that he is progressing fast given that he was complete dog for the first half of summer and will then think that given the right coaching he may be able to develop into a decent role player. They will probably then write off the first half of summer league to getting the Bill Selfs out of his system and his ramp up to mediocre from midsummer to the end of summer will be the evidence they point to to help convince themselves that they need to keep this mediocre kid on the roster as a project player.
