you're going to want a couple of bar stools, because that's where people will congregate to.

What height are the ceilings?  I usually recommend preposterously tall chairs, but not sure about this space.

That window area would actually be a pretty nice place to set a dining room table, if your living room is big enough to sacrifice the space. I really can't give any advice without knowing just how big the room is.

Buy a flat screen that hides inside a piece of furniture when you aren't watching it. Then you can set it up in front of the windows.

:shakesfist: You live in a hard to decorate, horribly laid out apartment. I figured you were looking for retro style garage sale furniture!

In that space, I think you'll simply have to put the tv in front of the windows.  With your couch facing it.  Just don't use a large tv stand & that should preserve most of your view.  And definitely get bar stools, like RD suggested.

Put the TV to the left of the windows and angle a couch with it's back to the right bedroom. Or try it on the opposte sides. See what looks better. Leave enough space behind the couch so that you can walk around it to either side. putting a couch against a wall is almost always a horrible idea for flow.

bunk beds with your bro and turn the other bedroom into a purely media room then put a chaise in front of the window to enjoy your million dollar view

edit: bro or gal (ladybro) or course
