not even close. i'm not sticking up for kstate at all, just stating the obvious truth. I'm not a soccer fan except when it is World Cup time but Sporting KC is actually a pretty damn good team and have some good players on their team and have a pretty damn nice stadium as well that sells out every game. they are the only PROFESSIONAL team located actually "in" Kansas so that's why we have to list them. the Royals and Chiefs are in Missourah so they dont count, do i need to pull out a globe for ya? North Dakota has 0 pro teams so you can't go bringing in Minnesota or some other state into the discussion, this is your frozen tundra against KS. If you ask ANY college football fan if they would rather win the Big 12, Big10, SEC, Pac12 in football or your nice little FCS title...i bet over 80% would choose the league title no doubt. nobody knows who won the FCS title except for ND fans. I know you are a ND homer and a big fan, but come on..do you really think you are going to come into BSFS showing off their new upgrades on the first week of the season and win? i'll answer that for you, eff NO! the place is going to be packed and rowdy. If a gun was held against my head and I had to choose, Id take KState. Derp, big deal. Theyre the home team with advantages all over, many more scholarships, more high end coaches etc. I do also think NDSU's team is a lot better than anyone here has given credit for on this site. They would be favored over half of the FBS...including schools in the 5 major conferences.

Im going hopin the Bison keep it competitive and close. It's anyones game if they do that. I believe the Bison have the talent and experience to do that. They wont let the BSF unveiling hype bother them...theyve played infront of big crowds and national TV already.

NDSU is -17.5 against a team that will probably win 8 or 9 games in the FBS this year.  you guys might be favored over like 4-5 teams in FBS.

As a native Kansan living in Texas, I feel pretty qualified to say that (with the exception of Oklahoma) the states get progressively better as one moves from north to south...  Which, coincidentally, speaks volumes about North Dakota.
