This thread is weird.

Especially the posters vehemently trashing on hats.

Just odd.

Anyone that says ballcap should have their opinion on this matter voided.

I wear hats on every once in a while.

For games, I especially like hats that are ridiculous and/or kstateo.  If they're not over the top kstateo, i like them very simple with a giant powercat.  I've also been known to wear the KSU "bar hats" or maybe some odd cowboy hats on occasion.

Never fitted ones though.  Never mesh ones either.

Barfsville.

Examples of k-state hats I would wear:

LOVE these first two

I really wish I could find the interview or at least a screenshot of the visor and puka shell necklace wearing Cat fan they interviewed at the Omaha NCAA site in 08.

I think Squawkstin found an archive once and emailed it to me and I either saved it or posted it or at least got a screenshot of your guy.  It'll turn up eventually.

Makes me want to wear khakis and a tucked-in blue denim button up long sleeve shirt with a script "K-State" embroidered above the left breast pocket, and then sport this bad boy at a very high trucker-hat like angle on my head.  I believe I have to wear a really thick watch too.  And my cell phone in a large holster on the belt.  Let's go golfing, fellas.

Aside from the denim and cell phone holder that sounds like a pretty great plan SPC

My grandpa would love your taste in KSU hats, Dlew.  I try to get him the ugliest K-State thing I can find every year for Christmas and he just loves the crap out of it.  Loves hats too because he doesn't have to put on his toupe.

Congrats on the split CF3!

I forgot a hat at a softball game one time and it was SUPER AWKWARD...like the sun was in my eyes and I realized i was the only person on the diamond without a cap.

Thanks Ben Ji! They were both close ballgames, but the other team was way better than us so we're pretty happy with the split. Anyway, Go Cats!

I cannot wear a hat as an accessory. I feel ridiculous and am typically judgmental of guys that wear hats to wear hats.

I used to accessorize occasionally as a youngster with a hat, but ever since I started wearing glasses, which make me look more refined/smart/articulate/sexy, I haven't worn a hat....maybe even once. Partially because glasses and hats look tarded, but also because I can't/wont' flat brim and then the brim hits the glasses. Just doesn't work. Luckily I have hair and it doesn't take much time to make it look good.

ballgames and hungover brunches.

Exactly this.  Plus to the beach when hungover.

glasses and hats are synergistic from a functional standpoint.

I suppose, but it's not very chic.
