And they do have cars, they haul their bikes down to the Ville area to do their business. If you try to outrun them they call their buddies then hustle back to their car to join in the pursuit. The police and the prosecution both feel the same about fleeing and eluding ,they hate you for it.The only thing worse in their minds is battery of a LEO and shooting one.Trying to outrun a bike cop is a bad idea, unless you're drunk.

aside from being a complete blast when you outrun 5-0, it's also proving a point to the cop that you aren't someone to eff with.  next time he sees you the dude will think twice.  more than likely he will recognize you as the alpha and portray a more submissive role which is ideal because then you can get by with more crimes without fear of prosecution

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

walking out of hibachi hut in college we saw a guy getting pulled over by bike cops.  my buddy yelled, "BIKE COP!" quite loudly and the cop got all butthurt and came over and took our IDs and told us we were lucky he didn't write us a ticket for interfering with an arrest or whatever.  we were like whatever dude why don't you have a car

Ten Commandments in front of THE Manhattan Christian College: studley, awesome, not actually the real ones.

Also Bike Cops hid behind them. So when you look and see the Tablets remember the golden rule, don't text/bbs sitting at that stop light.

I bet the cop would be pretty nice if you complimented his sweet bike and awesome bike accessories
Had a buddy who was an exchange student from germany that went to my high school for a year, his parents came to visit once and went on a big road trip out to colorado, national parks, etc.  While out in BFE he got pulled over by a (motor)bike cop and proceeded to complement the officer on his fine BMW motorcycle and talk shop about it (because all Germans are required to be BMW savvy)  Cop got distracted by the gab and ended up letting him off.

A bike cop stopped my buddy and I while we were walking outside the bar at 2am to ask him how much he had to drink.  Buddy gave him a stupid answer, bike cop was closing for the kill (ticket).  Then the bike cop asked buddy why he was wearing sunglasses at 2am, and my friend told him that "when you're cool, the sun is always shining".  Bike cop thought that was a great answer, and let us go.

Why was he going to give your bud a ticket for walking?

Probably the cop was a huge dumbass too.  It helped that your friend is a rough ridin' idiot tool bag so that he could relate to the cop on his level.  Stupid people enjoy that.  Hur hur hurs were had by all I'm sure.  'merica!  eff yeah 'n such.
