I think "Fly" is a pretty catchy song but I don't like most of their stuff. "I.....just wanna fly! Put your arms around me baby put your arms around me baby!"

Tons of cities/towns around the U.S. have riverfests. Probably around the world. There are probably a handful or so that are pretty great. Where does that leave us? Tough to say.

Sounds like a really solid show for 1997. Would have gone.

I saw them at the Topeka Expocentre with the Urge when I was 15.

I enjoy listening to them for the nostalgia from time to time. It makes me remember what it was like growing up and listening to 105.9 when it was all alt-rock back in the 90's.

Sublime was okay. I enjoyed a couple of their songs when I was a kid. Never liked them enough to buy an album.

I don't think this statement fits this thread.

311 and Sublime may have been represented by corporations but they are far from being from some sort of machine.

Transistor and Sublime are top notch albums that show variety in style from one song to the next.

Both bands started from scratch and they both are products of their own creativity.
