Funruh and dlineguy,

what was the player's thoughts on Ron wearing a cowboy hat, the Wildcat walk, and "Give me your best wildcat growl"?

also, did Prince start the football class for women just to get laid?

Ron should just register and post.  I'd bet he has more friends than foes on here.

At the very least he could donate some kickass memorabilia for FF '14

I already thanked him for scheduling Miami, should I thank him for scheduling UCLA too?

Ron,

Thanks for scheduling UCLA, those games were fun even though we lost one.

FUNRUH will have better stories than this- he is the greatest chinese olineman in ksu history.

I understand it's going to be overshadowed by other developments, but this is a hilarious post. And what a great trivia nugget!

I like to read this thread and pretend that it's being read by Craig Ferguson.

Craig reading as Funruh:

Quote
Before I knew it we were both on the floor.  He landed on top of me and grabbed a handful of my nuts....no lie, this dude was squeezing them shits hard.

There were these sliding partitions in the meeting room and we rolled into them and damn near knocked it down.  One of the most uncomfortable and strange things that ever happened to me.

DGale as Geoff:

Oh. FunruhCat76 may have been an early (and unwilling) winner of the Ron Prince Love Sweepstakes.

also, did Prince start the football class for women just to get laid?

Adding on to this, what did the players and coaches think about power towels?

I thought the Wildcat walk was kinda cool.  No problem with that.  It always got me juiced up.  What were the hangups with it?

The power towel would've been better if there wasn't the weak 80's themed music and video to go along with it.  You'd be a liar if you're saying it wouldn't be cool to have the whole stadium swinging towels right?!?!

Cowboy Hat....pretty obvious to me it was a back handed gesture towards UT right?  It was amusing to me.

I agree with all but the "cowboy hat" bit... I think the hat was his weak attempt at pandering to our boosters/alums in western Kansas.

No hangups, didn't know if the players liked it, or thought it was gimmicky.

On a side note, how jacked up did the smoke and the garage door get you?  That was by far the best thing Prince brought.

yes. all great. you know what else i liked? prince always had a circle around the powercat or maybe like an oval/circle around it and it made the powercat look better. not a good head football coach but the guy was a great marketer.

what did the team think of Ron's bone patrol habits? high fives or laughingstock?
no one really believed all that stuff- he was fantastic at fooling. I would say I started to understand when he dropped the "I'm not so sure that i shouldn't have drank more beer and f!@#$% more b!@#$%^ in our senior meeting.

All those regrets about not drinking more and f!@#$% more b!@#$%^ may answer the question about the football class for women.
