i've never been to a college town full of people more eager to impress visiting fans.
Morgantown wins this contest.

But the bonfireaggies were pretty darn nice to us at the 08 Cats game.  Received more free brew just walking toward the stadium than we could drink. Took us nearly 2 hours which was a combo of nice people giving away food and booze because we were wearing purple and that we had to park over a mile away because you cant walk on the grass.
What happens to you if you walk on the grass?

I can assure you that east Texas isn't so welcoming to everyone

Having attended all but the 08 games in CS and I will agree they are very friendly and eager to impress but I find it a bit fake and patronizing.  I am pretty sure being an over the top host is part of fish camp for aggies.  Austin in 07 was also not quite as friendly but the interactions seemed much more genuine.

http://deadspin.com/was-johnny-manziel-sent-home-from-mannings-camp-for-be-777475183

Our boots on the ground in Thibodaux, La. — believe it or not, we have them — informed us that Johnny Manziel was sent home from the Manning Passing Academy on Saturday afternoon by Archie Manning himself. Our source, who wishes to remain anonymous because of his connection to the camp, gave us the scoop after Manziel showed up tardy Saturday afternoon after being out on the town Friday night. The Texas A&M star reportedly enjoyed himself a little too much Friday night and rolled back into the camp at Nicholls State University some time around noon Saturday before getting the boot.

So Johnny football shows up hung over as hell and is milling around for a bit before getting sent home....Apparently during manziels brief time there AJ McCarron is being interviewed

Q: What do you make of playing Texas A&M so early in the season?

McCarron: It's going to be fun. We get to play my boy [nods across at Manziel seated 10 feet away]. I think it's gonna be a good game. Really exciting, and I'm ready to play.

I think our whole "Welcome to K-State" greeting is trying to accomplish this same feat.

The official Manning company line? He was "ill." It was in the best interest of all that he leave. Peyton says he hopes Manziel returns to the camp in future years.

What else would the Manning family say? Do they want parents to think they bring in drunks to tutor their kids?

Reggie Bush should get to keep the Heisman compared to all the things Manziel has done in the past like....2 weeks

denied. Binge crown is predicated on not being a complete douche.

The Heisman trophy is now completely meaningless.
