Yeah, I can't really ever remember a time when having girls as friends went over well when I had a girlfriend. 

I can however remember a time my freshman year at K-State at my Fraternity house when my girlfriend Shelly was jealous that my girl friend Jenny stopped by to say hi and I told my girlfriend "don't worry Jenny I love you!"  Talk about a meltdown!  Relationship lasted about another two or three weeks after that one. 

I eventually banged Jenny but not til after college  #fanningbrag

OK, your girlfriend may not like it but I was thinking of society's general view of a guy with many girl friends vs a girl with many guy friends.
