Have we discussed getting called “hun” by women who are less than 80yo, ITT?

How do we feel about the full "honey"? Because I swooned when our 60 year old waitress at a Tennessee diner called me that.

I'm okay with this, esp if in TN and / or the context is a diner.

Not sure if this is the correct thread but can we relax with the salt distribution? Even after the snow melts the entire city is covered in an inch of salt. It gets on everything. Shoes, cars, you name it.

We are overusing salt for winter storms.

Omg yes, it's awful. Way too much.

Have we discussed reels where the creator plays multiple characters who are interacting with each other? There are like five accounts that do this well. The rest are insufferable.

Last winter, I was walking with the fam on Poyntz and there were little piles of ice melt on the sidewalks. I started spreading them around with my shoe to even the coverage and my kids indicated that this humiliated them.

BIG ONE! Especially when the light switch is also the exhaust fan switch. Only monsters turn that off

when people say "can we ...." to suggest/demand a task and clearly they mean you and only you. this happens in both work and personal life.

when the glue machine that glues down the first piece of toilet paper on the roll is a bit heavy handed. To be honest, whatever benefit we gained from glueing down the first piece is greatly outweighed by the streamers created. i think as a society we would be fine to just not glue it down at all.

although, if i was a producer of toilet paper in a capitalistic society, i can certainly understand the motivation to glue that crap down.

Not to pit this up, but I just got an emergency alert on my phone about a guy with a handgun. when I clicked on it to get info, it took me to Twitter and since I don't have an account it just takes me to the main twitter page of the MO HW Patrol and I can't see any of the tweet info.  :ohno: Thanks for letting me know about a guy with a handgun somewhere.

apparently the guy shot a Lee's Summit cop. i guess whoever runs the emergency alert system has determined that meets the criteria for an emergency alert. agreed very frustrating to send that out to scare everyone in Jackson County with no other information.
