Gotta finish it.  Then who knows.  There is about to be a glut of Class A office space.  Time to rent for cheap
absolutely
city planners better get to work on 1) how to recover lost tax revenue, which leads to 2) rezoning these commercial office spaces into residential

This was designed so it could be moved to residential even the garage levels.

Crap, that stings.  Hopefully someone else can make a run.  It's not like that space can be used for much else.

That place was a hot date spot for the Mrs and I on the weekend when we lived downtown for 4 years. HH at Bar Louie and then the Alamo. What a combo!

Alamo is great, and I will always be a patron, so long as they exist.

They even had live bands at the bar before movies. Quite the place.

it was a vacant 4 story 1960's building + empty lot before construction started. even if the new building sits vacant it will generate more property tax (even at a 75% reduction or whatever the city incentives were) than the lot was generating before, right?

not looking at this building in a vacuum.  downtown in whole is going to be hurt due to full time wfh and lowering commerical office space pricing per square foot
