Wasn't A closed because it was too expensive to keep open? The number of gates is a red herring, mci only uses like half of the available ones already. Efficiency is more important

I know you have a "We're just little ol' kc and happy to be here" mentality, but the current design just isn't worth keeping and investing in to renovate.

nothing is too expensive, everything is free!  including our future $2B airport!

not to the airlines, that's for sure
hell, i'd offer to finance it too.   the issue of who finances this was determined in an effort to circumvent existing ordinances and is of zero consequence.  it literally means nothing.

I'm as much of an airport expert as clams.....I just tend to believe experts who studied both options....airlines seemed to be convinced too (they wanted renovations first 'member?)

I wonder if the renovation estimates would have went up to after they did design, took into account increasing costs and brought the budget up to current day dollars?  Nah, I'm sure it would have stayed at the LOL levels and still not fixed the problems with that POS airport.....

I can’t tell how much of this is faux outrage with clams, I feel like it’s maybe only 20% real.

is this way of acknowledging your/slyin hams' lies ?

because your argument against the reno was that it was more expensive.   is it still more expensive?  or was that just your convenient way of pushing the new terminal agenda.  asking for a friend, tia!

Wrong.  Feel free to dumpster dive though....every estimate I remember had renovation close to the new terminal cost.  My opinion as always been if I can partly fix my POS house for even 75% of getting a new house with everything I need is I'm a dumbass if I renovate.

Everybody knew both renovation and new costs would change once a decision was made....
