For midtown users, you can see the maps of the streetcar extension options of running down. The center or on the curb....

http://kcstreetcar.org/about-streetcar/mainstreet-extension/

I think I'm a center running fan but can see some usage for curb running like around 45th Street.

I think i'm going to do the LC's platter that comes with the ribs, fries and two meats. Not sure what meats I should get. Mrs. Wacky will either want the turkey or the chicken. Should I do pork for the other one?

whatever will least disrupt the actual residents of kcmo, as the joco grandparents are getting on/off the toy train.  i think the side is better but that will disrupt the street parking, not that there's much of that along this stretch.  yeah, i'm for doing it on the side.  will cost more but whatevs, we print money in kcmo, everything is free

I don't see either being disruptive....the center running will cause less traffic backups caused by dumb drivers parking over the line and delivery drivers blocking the tracks. It's also a better fit going into the trolley trail.

I might be thinking of it wrong but if it’s in the center, at each stop won’t traffic have to stop going both directions so riders can deboard east and west?  versus a southbound train stopping and only stopping southbound traffic?

like I said there really isn’t a lot of on street parking along that section of main so that don’t anticipate the issues with over the line parking being a big deal.

Free to ride. My property tax of 250 a year are well worth it.  I haven't calculated my sales tax impact....

Rent went up $200 when that thing popped up downtown at our place. That would have been a $2400 worth choo choo train on this end. Per year at least.

There will be a platform in the middle and pedestrians will need to wait at platform for signal like they do now to cross main.

So bit bigger pita for pedestrians vs just being dumped onto the sidewalk....but I think it's a trade-off worth it for better service and auto traffic flow.

Yeah, a platform in the middle of the street that serves both directions is personally the way I would do it.
