The 2013 NCAA Champs will have a brand new $40 million track complex next year.  So blessed.

which 35 yard line of the football field is it going on?

Nope.  The beautiful thing about the new track complex is that it will allow KU to upgrade Memorial Stadium and remove the track.

You need to upgrade Allen Fieldhouse.  That place is a crap hole.

False.  KU just upgraded AFH in 2010 and completely modernized everything.  They're building a three story hall of fame facility next to AFH that will house Naismith's original rules of basketball, so more upgrades are on the way.

On the men's side, Texas A&M and Florida tied for the team title while Texas finished sixth to give the Big 12 one team in the top 10. TCU (t-12) and Texas Tech (t-24) joined K-State in the Top 25.

Can you really be credited a Nat'l Title in a sport in which you can TIE for a Nat'l Title?

Nope, I heard KU is going to install a black Harley track in place of the old one so that they can host Harley Days and tractor pulls.

This is a great idea on KU's part. You have to spend money to make money, after all.

The entire place smells like a cat pissed on a bag of burnt popcorn. Just absolutely reeks of it.   Also, building a three story building to house the rules of basketball? JFC, even KU's AD is a validation seeking douche.

False.  You're just a butthurt K-State fan who thinks it's cool to call AFH a crap hole.  You probably have a strut 'n cut goatee that smells like stale beer and cigarettes, which is why you think everything smells like crap.

KU is spreading the payments on the 39 million out of 30 years.  Also, KU is decades behind title xi facilities and are just now beginning to address their deficiencies. Good old poor, sexist little bro!

Re: 2013 NCAA Champs < WORLD TINY TRACTOR CHAMPIONS!
« Reply #122 on: June 21, 2013, 01:34:25 PM »
Quote
Kansas State University's quarter-scale tractor design teams are the winners of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers' 16th annual International Quarter-Scale Tractor Student Design Competition, May 30-June 2, in Peoria, Ill.

The teams and their Powercat tractors won their ninth international championship title at the event. It's the 15th time in the last 16 years that Kansas State University has won or placed in the top three at the competition.

Quote
Harner says participating in this competition helps equip students with the skills needed to solve the problems and confront issues they will face in their future careers.

"Nearly 200 industry professionals volunteer their time as part of the intensive review process of the undergraduate teams' design, product manufacturability and serviceability, ergonomics and safety, written and oral communication skills, as well as tractor pulling performance," he said. "The cumulative outcome is preparing today's K-State students to address tomorrow's global challenges....unlike a rough ridin' track and field 'championship', which will get you exactly dick in the real word, or even in the 'sports' world for that matter, because c'mon no one gives two fucks about track, let alone ladies track, and you can mother rough ridin' quote me on that"
