My thermostat is set at optimum comfortable temperature with no regard for season. it's much easier just to make an extra $2 a day or whatever it costs than to suffer through some fluctuations in temperature or humidity.

Sometimes (a lot actually) I run the ac or heat with the windows open for maximum comfort. I do this in the car too. I like open windows

I'm with you.  I wonder if you are also a guy who will shun anyone who would drive around a parking lot or wait for a "close" spot rather than just going to an empty spot and walking in.  Or those people who driver around to find cheaper gas.  All of these people can GTFOOMF.

I'm with ya, SD.  I got my summer temp set at 72 and my winter set at 68; and I'm just fine, thank you very much.
