This makes me want to rip a couple of stogies and listen to a nice string quintet.

every alum gets back .005% for their efforts throughout the season. I just got off the phone with Currie.

The FY13 budget (which is for the fiscal year that runs from July 1 2012 through June 30 2013) included a projected distribution of $18.9 million from the Big 12.  We expected to get a little less than $19 million.  We actually got $22 million.  That means we have $3 million extra cash.  Rowing Center, anyone?

I hope the rowing center was actually in the budget and we use the extra 3mil for things like recruiting expenses or limestone walls or paying off refs.

Fire breathing pak heads on top of our castle. I bet you could make that happen for $3MM.

As I remember the Mizzou rationalization for the SEC ultimately became "stability".  After the money thing got disproven they seemed to latch onto this talking point pretty hard.

Be careful, Currie isn't the bridge, he's just some rough ridin' guy.
