Self hired former oscar assistant Jerrance Howard to fill Dooley's spot.  Howard is a very good recruiter.  He was the primary reason oscar started getting top 100 kids at Illinois late in his tenure.

The alleged reason he's leaving is that he wants to play the 3 and Illinois only wanted him at the 4.  He has no guard skills other than being a streaky three-point shooter; not quick enough, doesn't dribble well; doesn't pass well.  I don't believe Weber would want him as anything other than a stretch 4 either as that's all he's cut out to be, so I don't think he'll be looking at KSU.  Certainly not Kansas.

What a dumbass comment.  Jerrance is a very real threat to land elite Illinois players at KU; versus the field not just the Breads.  Collins could be the dirtiest [redacted] out there and NW still wouldn't register.  You need boosters that have a lot of money and give a damn before you can start buying elite recruits.  Nobody at NW gives a damn about basketball.  Their rough ridin' gym looks worse than some high schools.  Every time Illinois plays there it's a home game.  eff, they are actually decent (by big 10 standards) in football and they don't even sell out their tiny, shitty stadium.  Their fans give even less of a eff about basketball.  Collins royally rough ridin' blew it.  He will underperform Carmody.
