my guess is that the fire and ice part just basically refers to them being a grill (fire) and doing steak, etc type things and the ice part refers to them also doing a lot of seafoody/fresh fish type of stuff. wahoo is a type of fish and also supports the fish/seafood side of things. i think they probably set out to be pretty heavy on the seafood stuff and more expensive seafood/fish plates and then realized that they couldn't quite get away with it and changed their menu some with less expensive and less seafood fare. great place though.

i ate there after fattyfest and i agree it has a good menu and good food. the name is not appetizing tho

Wahoo is a kind of fish of which a sculpture hangs in their entrance area also wahoo is a sound people make when having a fun time.
