Currie and The Animal need to order like 9 trophies this off season. Just throw them in there with the rest. We have won so many anyway, I don't think it will be obvs that we were blatantly padding our count. Just throw them in there and let them shine for the viewing pleasure of the recruits.

Totally agree, Crystal Football trophies, big tall ones with the Football Guy on top, maybe even a couple of Heisman's.

Yeah I like where this is going. I mean, if we claim a national title in the year, 1965, and show it off in our trophy case, will recruits know the difference? Hell no.

I could walk into just about any foreign athletic department, see a national title trophy from 50+ years ago, and instantly believe it. I mean, I know for a fact that Minnesota has won like, 3 football national championships. If they can do it, anyone can.

Old-timey Cat football blows bad enough that this is hard to do. I think maybe one year in like 1900 we went 4-0 by beating KCAC teams. We could possibly claim those.

Honestly, this thought should be correct for any fan of any top 25 school in any sport, imo.
