I'm not sure why this thread exists or why I should care.

Is the argument that we should spend more time enforcing existing laws?

If so, yes, we probably should do that for every law in the books.

What am I missing here?

I don't understand your point here. Late term abortions are already illegal and those who perform them should be punished by law. If they are not punished that has nothing to do with the right to choose but rather is a law enforcement problem.  You are trying to turn this into something that it isn't

As I've explained above, repeatedly, this is not just a law enforcement issue. The pertinent question is not whether these atrocities are illegal, which they are, but how these monsters are able to operate for so long before they're exposed. Lax regulation is to blame. And what is the cause of lax regulation? The grand jury pegged it in the Gosnell matter, and I expect this problem exists nationwide. Even in red states, the bureaucracy is largely liberal. I would encourage you to read the detailed grand jury report linked above, at least the sections on all the government agencies that looked the other way. It's almost as sickening as the heinous crimes themselves.
is "lax regulation" really the new Con talking point regarding abortions?  sad.  not even trying anymore.
