There is more bacterial DNA in you and on you than human DNA. You don't need to be scared of them.

Interesting if true

I've been hearing recently that all these germs around us, in us, and on us help to make our immune systems stronger and quite possibly prevent the onset of certain diseases and cancer.

Being too sterile with sanitizer and wiping down everything you come in contact with does nothing to help your body build up defenses to certain viruses and bad bacteria.

Still though, wash your hands after the restroom, the strength of the bacteria after doing business may be too strong if you were to pass it accidentally through contact.

I've made it a personal rule to, if reasonably possible, avoid touching anything a co-worker possibly could have touched.  I made this rule after watching a guy go from the bathroom stall, skip the hand washing, and go directly to the bowl of jelly beans on the admin's desk.
Amazing how many professionals are pigs in terms of hygene.

Handbags have more bacteria than toilet seats. I guess it's time for most of you to quit carrying purses and switch to fanny packs.

i stopped by a gas station this morning on the way to work to get a drink (diet dp!) and i wondered about the germ content of a soft drink dispenser.  some people don't use straws (gross) and then slap that cup against the ice-lever thing.   :barf:
