I have a 14-year-old daughter whose body odor and room is very repulsive to me. My daughter takes a bath every morning before school but still always smells like she is swimming in warm sewage. Her room has an even stronger odor and I can hardly stand going in there. I've spoken to her about it and she insists she can't smell it, though I feel she's become immune to the smell. My wife doesn't seem to notice it, not even her body odor. I've given her soap and shower gels telling her that they really smell nice in an effort to entice her to use them. After approaching her about this several times to no avail, I'm seeking your help in how to address this with without her feeling that I'm always "on her case" about something. Please help!

Kid in my school had well water.  Ground became contaminated with his septic tank or some crap.  They were somewhat poor.  Took them a while to be able to afford getting the septic fixed. 

Drank bottled water.

Showered in contaminated well water.

Smelled like mild sewage for like 3 months.

Last I heard ppl still call him "Stinky" as a nickname.

Gather some of her closest friends and bribe them with candy so that they will tell her she smells and refuse to be around her.  Peer pressure always works

My teenage nephew (now a squawk), has some medical condition that makes his sweat smell really nasty. Walking past his bedroom used to make me gag. Now he uses some prescription deodorant. It doesn't help that much, but he's managed to land a girlfriend.
