Yeah, have lived in Bend for around 5 years now. The mountain biking was the main draw for me, pretty great to roll out from home and access so much singletrack.

I definitely see the draw. Has similar (maybe in even better) access to trails as I have here, but in a town more my size and pace. Plus no weird Mormon crap to deal with.

irl tho rappelling off that stone bridge/arch thing was the scariest thing i've ever done. it was about 250ft above the canyon floor and you just back up over the edge like an idiot.

i did not! we loaded up on racks of Montucky cold snacks and bottles of whiskey from the world famous liquor barn in grand junction.

I'm getting pretty excited for my vision quest July 10th-17th out in south central WY along the N Platte River. Current plan is to camp here for the majority of the time and fish the N Platte/other streams in the area.

I haven't made it out to WY yet but about 1 hr south of the cat ranch is the little Jerusalem Badlands.
