Oh hey guys. SB checking in to tell you that HGTV started this new show called Living Big Sky. Right now there's a hot young couple looking for a cabin'y place in Bozeman. Actually they're like 15 miles outside but the views are obvs incredible and just making me hurt on my inside parts for another VQ. Anyone questing this summer?

Questing right now

Tdaver, you are not only a really valued team player  ITT, you have grown into a really consistent heavy hitter on our VQ team. Amazing pictures as always, just beautiful. You ever get to the bottow of the mystery of your 3L of water and where it all went?

Just watched that movie Wild where Reese Witherspoon hiked the Pacific Crest Trail by herself. Had me really yearnin for a new quest. Feels bad knowing I'm down here in hot-ass Louisiana for the next few months without any getaway to any really cool nature any time soon. Dying to go up to Vision Quest territory and/or the Pacific Northwest again. What do you guys think, should we expand this thread to include naturey stuff from Oregon and Washington?

I don't really get hunting but GD those pics are beautiful  :Wha: :Wha: :Wha:

So there's this great songwriter named Joe Pisapia, who used to be in Guster. He wrote a song called "Suitcase and Guitar" which totally makes me think of my VQ

Emo is going to make me sad my next chilly AM December sit waiting on something to walk by.  I imagine i will be comforted by there being a nearby bar available and not having to make powdered lemonade mixies (which are awesome, fwiw) to keep the chill out.

I don't get the point of killing something once you've stalked it. I think it'd be much more fun to try and get as close as possible and take pictures. Appreciating that we belong to the Earth not the other way around. But! Getting out and enjoying nature like you did is great and I love the pictures. Thank you for sharing.

Both are thrilling, just different strokes for different folks.  None of those deer die of old age in the wild.
