So what I've gathered from kutards and talk radio is that because the article says ku had nothing to do with this, they can't be punished.

We're supposed to believe that ku was the unknowing and fortunate benefactor of a lottery pick, steered to ku by an agent through unpermitted payments, and KU has no connection to this agent, he just drew there name out of a hat and said, "that's the perfect place to stash him for a year." No motive or remuneration?

I seriously didn't hear a single talking head bring this up. I mean, the notion that ku would be an ideal place to stash a lottery pick is foolish at best, given massage seff's track record.

But, you do know this character was trying to influence McLemore to became a client after college, right? He didn't how up until 3 semesters after McLemore was a KU student. The $10K was this past semester, and I, frankly, am offended that you think we would buy players with such a low sum of money.

I mean, why would a school that's recently had employees federally indicted and plead guilty in a conspiracy to misappropriate complimentary tickets even bother to monitor whether their players are giiving complimentary tickets to rough ridin' sports agents?

THIS is the proper answer. 99.9999% of ku fans will never get to these heights of elevated awareness, but spracne gets it. Beems, and the rest of the ku fanbase will deny and rationalize, but this is the way I'd respond if caught in financial misconduct.

Ya know, I sat in Travis Canby's seats during the winter break games, he did it because he was a nice guy, not because I payed him.
