Our offense with Sams would need it's own gun control thread with all the "shootout" discussions that would surround it.

Waters will win the job because Hubert is a good back and will do his thing on the ground, and he is more than athletic enough to fit the system, he makes better decisions with the ball, and is the greater passer overall.  I would be happy with either guy and I know everyone here is pro-#LIFE but let's be logical, Waters gives the offense more diversity and the athleticism needed to run a LHC LHC Bill Snyder offense.  He will also win us more games IMO.  It's just a Spring game, but I'm basing it on film of Waters from IWCC(yes I know it's JUCO), I've seen Sams too and he makes more bad decisions with the ball.  The only problem I'd seen with Waters was him underthrowing receivers at IWCC which he didn't do at the Spring game, so he's improved.  I just think he's the better option, I mean anyone who throws 39 TDs and VERY few interceptions(3) is fine with me.  I'd like to see the better guy win, I just believe it's Waters.

I was actually fantasizing all morning about how we will beat that UT ass this time around. It's really fun.

Will KSU end mack brown's career this season?

Incase you didn't know... He has rough ridin' sucked since 08'-9'

Treading on thin ice, getting embarrassed by OU every year hasn't helped either.

If getting his ass kicked by Ronny didn't get him fired, getting curb stomped by Snyder isn't going to either.

Texas and it's fans have sadly yet completely accepted that the WildWildCats equate to a loss on their schedule.  It's not viewed as a negative, just a fact of Texas life.

Now, OU on the other hand.  OU is super important to them.

When was the last time they beat OU?  More recently than us?

If Mack was ever to be fired(LOL at them ever firing Mack) it would be the OU issue possibly compounded by football loving donor fans having to suffer through 4 years of David rough ridin' Ashe at qb.

I don't think his gimmicky offense is going to work well in the NFL. His tame won't have a large talent advantage in every game and the NFL doesn't really allow teams to play as fast as his teams did at Oregon. And yeah, I think he would think the UT job is better than the Philly job.

I'm not so sure the NFL is what it is talked up to be.

People just 2 or 3 years ago said dual threat QB's would never work in the NFL due to the speed at LB and DB. Cam Newton, RGIII and Kaepernick blew the lid off that pretty quick.

Also, I've read half a page of this thread. Here's my two cents. If you're rebuilding, as we are, you go with Sams. The guy has so much potential. We win seven games this year with him and the national championship in two years. We go with Waters we win eight games each of the next two years then start the white kid from Iowa. I say go all in with Sams. Give him some experience then it pays off big time down the road.

Newton had the 13th most passing yards in the league, with 19 TDs and 12 INTs. Kaepernick was practically a non factor on the ground vs Baltimore. RGIII just ended his first pro season and has already had two major knee surgeries. The future for those guys will depend on what they do in the air, not on the ground.

Newton is surrounded by a complete crap team and still made the pro-bowl as a rookie. Not sure what Baltimore game you were looking at but Kaepernick was second in the entire game (both teams) in rushing averaging almost 9yds a carry and RGIII has always ran like an idiot, he was injury prone at Baylor.

It is the future.
