Thanks, sys.  Honestly, I'll be a little bit surprised if Wiggins picks KU, but there are at least rumblings.  There were rumblings with Randle as well, though...

I think that OSU has to be the favorite next year, but KU will give them a very close race and very well could pull it off.

yeah next year, i was taking a medium-term outlook.  like over the next five years.  i guess texas could get back on track at any time, but it doesn't seem like they're doing so.

Yup big 12 bball is turning pretty darn soft.  We've probably been the second best program over the last 5 years or so which is kind of cool and sad at the same time.   Texas is capable of challenging if they ditch Barns for a big name, but I'm not sure they care enough to be bothered by such things.  Maybe KU should go join the ACC where people actually like bball and they'd at least have a fighting chance to finish next to last in football.   Seems like it would be kind of hollow to be a KU fan in a league where they dominate a sport nobody tries very hard in.

Barnes and Huggins track records would suggest they will get things turned around, but the recruiting (especially at UT) has just not been there. 

OU had such a long run as perennial tournament team with fairly regular conf. champ/deep tourney run type teams but it feels like Lon is there for the paycheck as much as anything.  Drew is gonna Drew and this season will go along way to determining if Ford is always gonna Ford. 

I am sure this my feelings on the webercats bleeding over to the conference at large but it is hard to see it getting much better.

i thought about adding wvu, but i think they are going to struggle being the only eastern team in a midwestern league.  at least struggle to the extent that they aren't challenging for conference titles.

Why would he want to go to FSU, I thought Leonard Hamilton was awful last year.
