For some reason I have this feeling that angel leaving actually delays the inevitable.  it's a built in excuse that oscar will rough ridin' pound into everyone's head.  "we're young/inexperienced" , "give oscar's guys time to mature in the system" type stuff. and the most ksu fans will accept it (or rather their apathy will not require results) since Football is doing well.

shame on oscar Weber for pressuring Angel into staying last year when he clearly wanted to leave the program and move closer to home. oscar's scare tactics might have worked in the short term, but in the long term, it will cripple his program.

He traded one season of "success" for three years of failure, before his inevitable firing after the fan base says CIT, CBI and NIT isn't "progress."

prolly true.  i guess i still just have this crazy dream that oscar tanks this year and next year and then we hire the real oscar.  it's a pipe dream, but i'm trying to find the timeline/circumstances to make this happen.  I mean, you don't hit the powerball twice, do you?
