Starter was definitley badass for quite some time, a market leader in fact, then fell far behind companies like Nike and Adidas. Don't know how Starter lost its significant market share.

Obvs he does. I mean, they have been wearing shitty brand for 5 yrs now.

Tradition is built by sticking to something. You don't get it simply by signing a super elite brand with a super elite contract for super elite unis.

Honestly, I don't hate those unis. Not saying it wouldn't suck to be a Russell school but GT's stuff looks better than most of the stuff adidas has out out lately.

I truly think people underappreciate what Starter did. They were ahead of their time.

I truly think people underappreciate what Starter did. They were ahead of their time.

Yeah, a match between Starter and KU would be ideal for both sides. KU has a strong enough brand to at least get Starter out of the gutter and into the homeless shelter, and Starter would have to try really hard to sabotage their own product to actually be worse than Adidas.

Anyone notice the old jersey McGruder was wearing for the 3pt contest the other night? I think the white ones were my fav, but we only wore those style for like a year before they made the most recent transition Jake's last season.

It was longer than a year. They switched around halfway through big 12 play during The Beas year.
