that would be my 2nd. then DT. then DE. then S on defense. kind of worried about K and P as well since we had such studly studs (until they fell off a cliff at the end) but the stud backups seemed pretty stud so who knows.

Right. Coaches think he's somewhat of a liability against the run. LB position scares the crap out of me.

I do expect all 5 of these positions to be a downgrade from last year.

1. Defensive Tackles       Britz and Reed worry me but our DT's have way outperformed my expectations for 2 years in a row.  Concerns about starters and depth.

2. Quarterback     I think we are Okay but until the Texas game is over we won't know for sure and this is the most important position in football. Until one of them is locked into starting I will have some concerns. 

3. Line Backer      Slaughter and Walker aren't terrible. These two have lots of experience. We will be down but I don't think it will be awful. I feel like we know what we are getting out of this position this year.

4. Cornerback        Taking a fairly large step back but thankfully we have Zimmerman backing them up.

5. Defensive End    I like Mueller and I don't think Nash is a bad signing. Probably going to be better here than most are expecting.

Defensive Line has been my biggest concern every year since Tim Tibesar was our d-coord.

I actually think our CB's could be better than last year.  LB will take a step back, but there's enough depth there for me to be less worried.

In the 4-3-4 Our linebackers will be suspect, in the 4-2-5 our corners will be. Randall Evans was honestly better than Chapman 50% of the time and better than Nigel in run support 95% of the time. Our weak side corner is going to be questionable (kip Daily maybe??) When we throw a 3rd out there (4-2-5) we might be in trouble.

I can see Tre moving back to MLB if nobody else pans out for that position and get some quicker guys outside to set the edges to minimize the damage of our DE and CB's being the weak-spots in our defense.
