New Orleans is a great place to visit.
:peek:  I was there this weekend

Going in a month.
Do yourself a favor and go eat at Cochon Butcher one day for lunch.  A little out of the way but certainly worth it.

hey hey hey hey hey why don't you just leave the nola recommendos to gE.c resident experts SB and WRFF. Also not very out of the way. But good.

White Cloud, KS one Sunday with my father in law on a whim.  You can see four states from the lookout there.  (IA,NE, MO, KS).

I've never been to California except that one time when I was a kid and we drove to the border just to take a photo with the "Welcome to California" sign.

LOL. Did your dad say something like "Well, we've seen it. Time go get back to Coffeyville?"

Red Light district in Amsterdam.  I've always wanted to say I've been there and did it for that reason.  Strangest thing I saw there was "normal" looking families with kids walking around.

Oh man, was once a little kid in one of those "normal" looking families there.

Yeah, pretty much. We had already been to Vegas so my dad could gamble while us kids hung out at Circus Circus.
