My dad was my baseball coach growing up and my mother bought those plastic jars of Warheads and Atomic Fireballs at Sam's Club every summer for us gets on the team to chow on. I used to raid the pantry and hide a bunch in my room for safe keeping. Loved the blue Warheads.

Every piece of hard candy I've eaten in my life I, 1) completely intended to savor every second of it, just let it melt into my mouth, and 2) went about 30 seconds and just crushed it.  I'm normally a very disciplined person but not with hard candy.

Fire Jolly Ranchers are the best. I like to suck on them until they get a sharp little groove and then until it is just a sliver. They're quite possibly my favorite candy. (Hard or soft).
