I'm going on a 3 day bender sexcapade in a few weeks to visit a philly friend of mine in San Diego. I'll be hitting the beach and need to pick up some new shades. What are the recomendations? Aviators? Oakleys? Metal? Plastic? What are the cool kids wering?

Just make sure that you have adequate UV protection. And it needs to be 100% protection to be adequate. Other than that, just get what looks cool on you.

I got brand new ray ban aviators for Christmas, absolutely wrecked the frames while binging at the Fiesta Bowl, and got them replaced for free at Sunglasses Hut. Worked out quite nicely.

I usually buy cheap SG's too. I think that's what I'll do this time too. Just grab someothing for 20 bucks at Kohls or Target or somthing like that.

Just bought a pair of Maui Jims a couple weeks ago. Blows away the old pair of raybans I used to have, and destroys the wayfayer I currently have.

The fit is unreal. Can't even tell you're wearing then because they're so light. And the lens themselves are amazing. Would recommend.
