Broke my leg playing soccer and my thumb playing baseball. Casts on both. Itchy as hell. Just a weird feeling when you get it taken off.

What if you have never broken a bone but dislocated a joint.  Like it was grotesquely gross.  Can I post something about that in here?

I'll allow it, but tread lightly.

While wrestling my senior yr in highschool I was about to tech fall this FP TC.  I was on bottom and posted out and the kid did something that totally shredded my elbow.  Like I had all my weight on it when it folded backwards.  I actually hit my face on the mat before I knew what had happened. The trainer tried to pop it back in place but it wouldn't go back in and I had to forfeit the match.    :curse:

My hand actually touched the back of my shoulder.

Same exact thing happened to my elbow exceept I was in the middle of an escape and we were both standing(Him behind). I leaned back against him to create some space and ended up doing a sit out and dislocating the hell out of my right elbow.

As soon as I hit the ground the guy knew something was wrong and just stopped wrestling. I stood up up in shock, looked at my right arm which was in the shape of a inversed C and I passed the eff out. Woke up in the ambulance as they were pumping me full of morphine.  :driving:

Yeah I screamed like a bitch when it happened.  It was mostly mental for me, that was the worst injury I had ever had.  My brother and his friend drove me the ER where I had to sit for half an hour before I was seen.  That sucked  :frown:

Hand between two facemasks in high school.  Sucked mostly from the cast itch and smell  :barf: since it was during 2 a days and had 4 weeks of practice in Aug/Sept with it on.  Looked like megaman with this pad thing wrapped on it that they let me play with.  Was a guard so no need to catch or throw.

AppleJack was tortured by someone who doesn't do small talk after he inquired about their afternoon.

never broken a bone.  have never sprained anything.  the worst thing that's ever happened to me was like a papercut or stubbing my toe or something.

why are you people so flimsy?

Which sports? Also did you play, or were you "on the team"?

I used to roll my ankle like once a week in HS.  I basically lived with at least one foot in an ice bucket for three yrs straight.  Rebounding ain't no punk game.

Well, then step on over here with me and all the other supermen in this thread.
My biggest injury was a sprained knee in wrestling.  I was not a big deal but I freaked out when it happened because I thought I was crippled for life, surgery etc.

i'm afraid that if i were to get seriously injured for the first time as a 31 year old, i'd probably not handle it well.

One time as I was leaving my house for a tournament my mom told me to "break a leg."  Got home later that day with a broken ankle just as my dad was leaving for a business trip.  He told me to sit tight, mom would be home soon.  Couple hours later she gets home, I yell at her for telling me to break a leg.  Regular Thanksgiving story.

I hyperextended my elbow playing rugby in high school. Coach threw me a pill bottle that had "pain" written on a duct tape label, told me to take one and go back in. Looking back, that was a great life choice.

But that's about the worst injury I've had since birth.

Prolly just generic aspirin. Rugby players/coaches don't have access to anything stronger than that. The rest was all psychological.
