I just tell myself we have oscar Weber as a coach and over the course of 3 years couldn't recruit anybody (apparently) to permanently place Will Spradling on the bench, so just take the Big 12 trophy and be happy.

I also smile thinking about the outrage from other fan bases if we brought oscar Pearl in as the coach . . . it's a fun little dream.

Do you think Pearl would get ignored trying to call a TO?

irrelevant. he wouldn't have allowed La Salle to get an 18 point 1st half lead by refusing to demand that we guard perimeter shooters etc.

I had some friends over last night, and I had a lot of fun. Like, a solid 4 hours of laughing and stuff. That helped a little bit.

When I saw EMAWblast outside on Grand, we were like:

"Hey bro"
"Hey"
"That sucked"
"Yeah totally"
"See ya bro"
"Yeah take care or whatever"

Couldn't even properly catch up with a bro. Couldn't even ask him about his awesome trip and compliment his sunburn. The Cats just made everyone so sad you guys.

this is very accurate. i just couldn't really say much. a lot of my friends went to p&l afterward and partied, and i don't get how that was possible. i was in a daze. went home, fell asleep for 12 hours.

It's my birthday, totally ruined it.   Stupid weber.

I moved within a year of fifty on 03/22 as well.  Born in '64 the last time K-State was in a Final Four.  I spent my youth watching Jack Hartman led teams come close, and Lon teased us with one Elite Eight appearance.

We got tickets to session 1 at Sprint, and I really thought the day was going our way when the ginger Badger bit it against Ole Miss.  Didn't happen.

Mixed emotions as I enter the last third of my life.  A Final Four is the only thing missing from my Wildcat athletics bucket list.

it wasn't fun leaving the SC yesterday  :frown:

I'm pretty sure that is what hell is like.

Thankfully Ryan Wallace talked me down from the edge and explained how losing to #13 seed in our backyard by two was actually a great showing

Ku fan neighbors had a bonfire at 600 yesterday and poped champaign and were pouring it all over one another. I thought that was a little much

Yeah, the only thing sadder is me trying to understand half the threads on this great site.  :embarrassed:

Karma.

For what, exactly? Celebrating what had been a great season up until we mumped up? KU fans seem to take things personally whenever emaw fans are happy about something and it's kind of strange. I'm happy whenever you're happy (unless it's at our expense) bro
