Guys, per the ESPN website they have like 7 guards who can shoot us out of the gym. Concern level for me has reached bubble guts stage 1.

This. Gip should score 20 and JO should score 10. Their 2nd best post player (Steve Zach) won't play, so if we get Wright in foul trouble they'll have (almost literally) no one inside.

nobody gets into foul trouble in the tourny. was actually going to start a HBBIQ thread about this and about how it effects different styles of play.

There is some truth there, though sometimes when you see these mid major posts try to guard high major posts, they get into some trouble. I fully expect Wright to have 2 fouls in the first half.

yeah, so Gip has gone for more than 15 points 4 times all season. But yeah, I think it's totally reasonable to expect him to just make it rain tomorrow.

He's due. He did have a stretch with 8 out of 12 games in double figures. The only thing that will keep him from scoring a lot is if JO plays really well and takes his minutes. Pretty much win-win for the Cats.

Zach is their best shot blocker and interior defender. In the four games he's been hurt, opponents have shot .620, .641, .595, and .543 on 2PT shots.
