Can you imagine if you were a Houston fan and grew up with a good friend who's a Texas fan and he always got make fun of you because he's a fan of the big bad Texas, and then you just go out and beat them tonight? Must feel great for that guy.

Sort of off topic, but could you imagine if you were a Kentucky fan right now, and #1 seed Louisville was playing in your arena, sleeping with your women, and pillaging your town for a weekend?  Not to mention you just lost to Robert Morris in the NIT.  I mean... yikes.

I'm pretty sure that KU fans are the only ones that think that Kentucky fans are sweating this year at all. It's pretty easy to stomach a terrible season when you're basically a lock to win it all next year.

I'm pretty sure the only reason you're defending Kentucky is because you're a butthurt K-State fan who hates KU.

I do hate KU, I'm not butthurt (what the eff do I have to be butthurt about? it's pretty great to be a K-State fan right now  :emawkid:), and KU fans ARE the only ones talking about Kentucky right now. Like, your team is in the tourney. You should probably focus on that.

I would take 47,000,000,000-3 if it means we get to share the Big XII bro chopper

Big XII Champs in both of the major sports  :dunno: Being a K-State fan is incredible. There is no reason for any of us Staters to be butthurt about anything right now...and we're not. You know what they say, "It's impossible to be butthurt when you live in Titletown."

Back on topic... Texas might actually be a favorite to win the Big 12 next year if Kabongo comes back.

Why would a team that lost to Chaminade (some type of champagne lemonade named school) and Houston in the first round of the CBI be the favorite to win the Big 12 next year?  The entire state of Texas forgot the game of basketball exists (as is evident by the Baylor attendance from last night/all year).

I think it's pretty unanimous that Kabongo is Durant v2.0.

TCU will be improved next year, and if Texas brings everyone back, they could surprise some people.  The top teams from this year's Big 12 lose a lot.  That's all I'm saying.

I really don't think Ford is going to be able to convince him to stay.

Agreed, but that is a big IF.  Am I the only one thinking Oklahoma has a good shot next year.  KU brings in a nice class and Ellis has been playing pretty well as of late.  I still see KU as the favorite.  TCU loses a lot this year, but bring in some talent.  Who knows if that will pan out.  Flood aggie is flood aggie so don't need to criticize those that 3rd world state.  West Virginia will also be improved next year and Elijah Macon looks like a nice player.

Beems, you are right that Texas will be better next year if Kabongo comes back.  I think they finish in the top half of the Big 12, but I would be shocked if they won it...but stranger things have happened.

Yeah, but I've got a feeling he's gone, along with Nash and Brown.

Considering Elijah carried the team most of the year it won't surprise me if he comes back

I think McLemore will go pro, but I still think the Hawks are the favorites.
