Self went out and got a great class of 3-4 year players. Minus Selden. I think he's a two year guy.
If he manages to land Wiggins to bridge the gap between this year and 2014-2015, it will no doubt be his best class at KU.
KU is not getting Wiggins. I would love if it would happen, but it is not happening.
That's a little assumptive, no? FSU tanked this year and though I believe they are a big player for him, that had to hurt a bit. Wiggins isn't the kind of kid who loves the recruiting process. He's also not the kind of kid who loves the spotlight. Where is the spotlight going to shine brightest next year? Kentucky. Brightest on him? Florida State.
I don't think we're the favorite. And those characterizations I made above are from recruiting "experts". But in recent weeks, it has become less clear who his favorite is. People have said to not count out Kansas or North Carolina.
I don't know if it's the Randle letdown that has you waving the white flag so early or what but it's totally dumb to do so. When we're one of four finalists, we have a shot.
I believe that UK and FSU are still the leaders for him. But I don't think UNC and KU are too far behind.
