The last time we were a 2 seed in the Big 12 tourney.....

we made the Big 12 finals (check) and made the elite 8.

A Bo Ryan coached Wisconsin team has only once beat a higher seeded team...that was a 5/12 upset over Florida St. in '09.

Last time a coach was in his first tourney as the coach at KSU, we lost to Wisconsin in the round of 32. The game was about 2 hours from Manhattan and in a session with ku as a 1 seed in the same building. ku was going up against a coach who had had big success as a coach in the state of Kansas, but left.
