My buddy who I use to work with in radio sales, just had his first baby last week. He called me yesterday, begging me to buy my tickets through him. I could tell he was in a pinch. So I confirmed a deal with him for two tickets, $165 total for Friday, Session 1, lower level. I wanted to take my new friend, so I was pretty excited. I called her yesterday to tell her the news and she couldn't stop thanking me. Three hours later, I get a text from my "buddy": "Sorry, guy. I sold your tickets to my brother-in-law. He gave me more. You'll be able to find something cheaper at Sprint Center anyways. Sorry, bud". Yeah, I look like a jackass now. I had to tell her this morning that the tickets aren't a for sure thing anymore and I'm still doing my best to buy some today.
