What are you talking about, his hype will be significantly more next season? Only the biggest college basketball junkies knew who he was before that Auburn gif. The dude was in jail less than a year ago. Not that it matters for his NBA status anyway. I have professed my love for Henderson several times but he isn't getting drafted this season. He has no position. He's not nearly a good enough shooter to make up for his size deficiency. He's one inch taller than Tay but shoots a lower percentage and is way less efficient. If Henderson is a 2nd round pick, Rodney is a lottery pick.

i thought he played pretty well, he led his team in both games but i have only seen him play 4 times this year so i dont have much basis for comparison

Yeah those two games were pretty standard fare for Henderson. If anything he seemed more efficient than he normally does. He does have a hard time getting his shot like mocat said. He usually takes a decent amount of shots late in close games but LaSalle did a good job of limiting him last night.

i did notice him just hanging out with his hands waving in the air while the other 4 guys actually ran a set, that bugged me but mostly because i wanted to see him drop a 40 burger on the explorers

I didn't say he was NBA ready by any means, but let's not act like the guy who was getting mumped up at McFadden's an hour after an NCAA tournament game is going to think this through. His quote about trying to make a name for himself in the tourney like Steph Curry and Jimmer makes me think he is done with college. He's 23, and if he has an average season next year no one would even think about taking a chance on a 24 year old chucker with issues.

He's allowed to get consultation, he'll know if he doesn't already that he isn't getting drafted. He will get advised on what he will need to work on and they will tell him that he will need to become a better shooter and will need to find his own shot. The age thing isn't terribly important, Bernard James was drafted into the 2nd round last season at 27 years old.
