I don't think anyone can deny it. I'm sure plenty of elite basketball statisticians on this website will back me up.

I don't think there is any coincidence that soon after the line was moved back that the game has slowed and become a train wreck.

i'm tired of seeing these lesser talented teams just throwing up any junk from behind that line and keeping pace with elites.  doesn't seem fair, you know?

I think it's really killed high-low ball. That extra step it takes to get to the basket has really mumped with players' rhythms since the game has become so spread out.

Nowadays teams can just get some driveway shooters and a junky big man not good enough for the NBA and exploit what college basketball has become.

The longer line really unfairly penalizes teams that run motion offense. Gives the defense more space in which to avoid screens and chuck guys who are trying to come off them. Also, guys coming off their curls are no longer in position for a 3-point shot, but instead a long 2. It's sad. No wonder Bobby Knight barely recognizes what's happening in the modern game.

You know what fucks with players' rhythms? Seeing Will Spradling on the court in the same uniform. Talk about a rough ridin' buzzkill.

Look, kougs, I'm sure we can all agree on the detrimental effect Will Spradling has had on the game of basketball. But there are already plenty of threads for that. This thread is for how the 3-point line has bastardized college basketball.

You guys must know by now our phog visitors cannot be trolled. It's like trying to pull off a knock-knock joke to a tribe in the Congo jungle. They cannot appreciate or be humiliated by something they simply do not understand.

I'm just trying to make this thread relevant to the most pressing matters facing EMAW at the moment.

I don't give a crap about any of that. Games like this just underscore how actual skill and nuance have been pushed out of the game in favor of garbage that should just be a sideshow at the NBA all star weekend (three point contest dunk contest).

What is this thread about? Compare NBA vs International basketball. NBA is a million times better because it is more spread out and players have a better chance of making a play. In college it is always a complete clusterfuck in the lane and surrounding area (largely because most college players suck donkey balls compared to NBA players).

What would happen if you used a 3d printer to print out this post? Would it make you a whole new computer? Seems like that'd be pretty elite.

College has just become about finding a seven footer without back problems who can't make the NBA and a couple of street ball guards who can dunk and chuck. Pretty ironic that Naismith would hate it.

Can Trim print out a new 2-guard to back up Tay?
