Amazing how KU always manages to play their cleanest, least-fouled game of the year against us.  Even more amazing that it happens with a #1 seed on the line.

Nah, were just playing like thugs. Refs calling a good clean game. Whatever the NBA will pay Withey, we should pay him more for him to coach our misguided youths how not to foul.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

I agree, I would seriously pay K-state 1k just to have our team walk off the court, with Weber holding a middle finger in the air after that bullshit on Gibson's dunk attempt.

Or you're the only team that plays 4 guards and chucks shot at such an alarming rate.

Stop bitching about fouls.  We shot like crap, as per usual.  Honestly, I don't think it would have even mattered if they would have called them.

There's always an excuse for the rigged officiating. Oh well. Congrats to KU. You don't rig the games - you're just a good team that capitalizes on what you're given. It's just the denial and excuses that kills me. (And the losing of course).

So, "rig" implies intent and effort before the fact.  Not that we get all the calls (due to coaches "working" officials, or "prestige", or habit of officials), but that we are  intentionally doing something to ensure it in advance.   What's the evidence that we are "rigging" it?  Got a receipt from the trash can?  Otherwise, you are an idiot for drawing this conclusion.

Nope. I'm using rig as shorthand for everything you just said. Thanks for clarifying that. I guess I need to make this clear: I don't think money is actually changing hands.

So the basic principle you agree to, KU gets calls from the refs.

Oh no. He was speaking hypothetically. A KU fan would never admit that.

Exactly, that is why they get bounced in the tournament year after year, especially against #truebluebloods.

They called Rodney for fouling Withey with the top of his head on his elbow.  They way we played didn't matter.
