I think they win the first round game and then bow out.  The Big Ten has really raked them over the coals and they've clearly toughened up as a result of it.  They won today because they fought, not because they played well.  They've developed some legitimate mettle, which is something I never thought I'd see wih this group.  They shoot too poorly to string together victories, but I could see them dick stomping the first team they face.

We need to cheer against Marquette.   They are playing Notre Dame in the nightcap of the BEast tourney.    Marquette is right there with us as a strong 4 seed.   A loss tonight and no way they jump up and get a 3 seed.

Good win Mr Bread.   You really did not want your ILL team being 8-11 overall in the Big Ten.   That is Minn is now.  I think Minn will still sneak because of their #2 SOS and 5 quality wins.  Lucky for them these last few teams trying to get in to the NCAA have horrible resumes.

They would have beaten us twice in under a week, they would take our 4 seed. Syracuse winning today hurt. Marquette will likely win tonight. Let's just hope we can take care of business tomorrow and work on a 3 seed

Glad at least  they didnt finish the half like Baylor.  ND puts a 25-8 run on to lead 29-25 over Marq at half

Syracuse winning did not really hurt.   Both Cuse and Pitt were 5 seeds entering today.   Someone had to win.   We just need Gtown to beat the Orange
