Reports from Big 12 Hobby Sport Tourney
« on: March 13, 2013, 11:11:16 AM »
As many of you know, I am a big shot who is basically in charge of making $$ 24-7.  However, during the Big 12 Phillips 66 Hobby Sport Tornament, I put down the $10k briefcase, take off the $8k suit and shake my ass down at the PNL/Sprint Center with my EMAW bros.  My first impressions from Wednesday so far:

In general, Sand Aggie is one of the more ugly fanbases we will encounter here in this hotspot.  However, with the removal of the ugliest fanbase in history, Mizzou, they are somehow not as annoying right now.  Mold aggie fans are gonna mold aggie.  There are none here except 8 of them whose tractor broke down in front of Johnnys.  They all came in and broke out bag lunches and ordered one big beer that they are sharing.  I assume the other 5,000 are packed into Kellys, singing along to Piano Man.

UT fans are here, and they seem quietly confident except when they meet a EMAW fan.  Then they flinch like a Iraqi vet in a thunderstorm.  I like them thoguh as they are almost as rich as the EMAW fans.

There are no TCU fans.  I am almost certain now that the school is made up.  They fooled us for a whole season.  Well done, toad aggie.

It cannot be overstated that this hobby sport tournament is now at least 100% better without Misouri fans here.  Everyone is better looking and smelling.  There are less horrible goatee/triple chin combos.  No losers chain smoking menthols in front of Lucky Strike.  No meth salesmen.  I am confident that there is at least 80% less dookie on the bathroom door handles.

So, cheers Big 12 Hobby Sport fans, post your reports here and lets party!

Are there any rumblings regarding the TCU-Texas matchup?  TCU is quite the salty team from what I hear.

Anyone that wants to talk hobby hoops with me had better be a jayhawk or I tell them to talk to the Titletown t-shirt.

What is the response from the fan bases, who are super jealous of the entire state of Kansas for their basketball superiority, to the titletown t-shirt?

Texas fans and OU fans fist bump the hell out of my Titletown t-shirt.  Everyone else seems like a 3 year old with poop in their pants.

I heard West Virginia is participating in the Phillips this year. Can you confirm this wild allegation?

Not sure, please describe.  I saw some toothless derelicts fighting over the cheese off an old pizza box behind Big Sky, could that be them?

Also, I chased a fat dude dressed like a disabled Daniel Boone away from my ride after I caught him huffing gas.

Crap. I figured since we posted the location of the event on the internets, they'd stay away because of lack of info about it. Somebody snitched to them about where we're playing our hobby sport tourney. Has to be a Flood Aggie, they have notoriously big mouths (literally and figuratively).

Just got done with lunch and slamming a few beers at Gordon Biersch. As I was heading back to my 40th floor corner office up the street, I saw Limestone double fisting some boulevards with one hand and he had his arm around a nice UT filly with the other (she was rubbing her hand over LS's chest where it says 'TITLETOWN,' fwiw).

Looks like he's having a good time, can't wait to get done with my 2:00 conference call and join him. He reserved a table at Mosaic at 3:00, so the day is looking like it will be a good one.

I know. Was hoping to throw off the sand aggie chicks that keep following me around. Told them Mosaic.
