The smell of asphalt on a warm day.  Reminds me of being a kid at World's of Fun.

i don't really enjoy the smell, but 100% makes me think of WoF every time.

also, not only puppy's feet, but dog's paw pads in general smell pretty good.  like corn chips.  very very odd.

That's really weird because that's what my mind goes to every time I smell hot pavement as well.  I have probably only been to WoF about 10 times in my life too so that's weird. PS: WoF is a miserable shithole full of disgusting poors and I hate it.  So that smell sucks.

I don't understand the appeal of new car smell. Have a new car right now and everyone keeps commenting on how they love the smell.  I don't get it. It's not like I could eat or have sex with the leather seats.

To be accurate, what you are smelling isn't the asphalt so much as it is the coal tar sealant that they use to protect the surface of the pavement (also keeps it that deep black color).
