they need to just make up some fourth college sport to play in the summer and start playing it immediately or all of emaw might go through title withdrawal. not safe you guys. i feel so great now but i know i'll want to title binge in three months and there won't be any more titles out there to win. scary feeling.

so a good friend of mine is a highly esteemed college professor. he is doing research right now on kansas state fans and it is his current feeling that there is enough data to suggest that all of our brains have been chemically altered in a way that makes us expect to win a big12 championship every three months and that if something isn't done to add a fourth sport during the summer,  we may all be at high risk of permanent long term damage.

he's still crunching numbers you guys, but this guy is smart and if he's saying it then we all need to listen. forward this to all emaw that you know that don't visit this bbs. this unprecedented success could actually come back to get us. add the fourth sport big 12! add it now before it's too late!

look...he's not saying that we will all kill ourselves if we don't win another title in four months because we've just become so used to it. but he's also not, not saying it. catch my drift? we've saved the big12 this year and now it's time for them to save us. add the fourth sport big 12. it's only right.

I know the same guy and he is rarely wrong.  BUT, he is also a guy who is great at diagnosing the problem, rarely offers a solution.  I don't like guys like that.  I'm an idea person.

OU was down this year, Texas wasn't good, Baylor wasn't that good, OSU was ok.

Dumb point. I could argue we were down in '11 so I guess OSU's title is unvalidated.

Also, Texas finished with 9 wins, Baylor was nothing to sneeze at, OSU was pretty good considering who they lost.

look, ljm, everyone knows this is a football conference in a nation where college football rules the day. don't take it out in us just because you guys decided to focus on a sport that people only care about for a few weeks in the spring...and for focusing so intently on that one sport you guys have been embarrassingly futile during those only relevant weeks.  what like 2 nattys in the last 60 years? how many other schools have won more than 2 mbb nattys in that time? has to be a ton. blue blood...pffft.

One of my best friend in high school had a sister who ran at KU from 09-12. He told me today that Women's track and field is down considerably this year, completely unprovoked. See how this argument kinda sucks? But go ahead, keep using it. Meanwhile I'll be doing as follows:

In 2007 KU whooped the football guru's of Dan Hawkins, Ron Prince, Bill Calahan and Dennis Franchione only to be slayed by the football mastermind Gary Pinkle. Brutal conference schedule.

I am still mind mumped at how the B12 somehow let KU pussy their way out of playing Oklahoma AND Texas that year? Then I remember how they didn't even play in the conf championship

German client said "title town" in German on the phone this morning during a confy call.  I won't try to pronounce it but it was pretty great.

Saw my UT friend at work just a few minutes ago.  Didn't say anything but "hi" and popped my collar.  Was pretty fun to do.

So, my wife and I are hosting a 22 year old Swedish exchange student named Elsa.  At dinner last night all she wanted to talk about were the three titles, or as she likes to call them the "Tre Kronor".  Elsa did the best she could in her broken English to explain that in Sweden the three crowns on their national flag is called the "Tre Kronor" and that when the baseball team won the Big XII Title it made her feel close to home.

You hear stuff like that and you really sit back and appreciate that we live in a pretty small world and if everyone could win multiple championships in major sports to bring us all together, we'd all be a lot better off.  Usually we make Elsa do the dishes when dinner is over, but last night she got to re-watch the game on KstateHd.com.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

One other thing I forgot to mention, I think Elsa is banging the next door neighbor's kid who just returned home for the summer from K-State.
