The athletics department sent out an email this morning. If we advance to the final four student season ticket holders will have the chance to purchase a ticket to the final four and championship game. The grand total for both games is 25 bucks. Anyone else plan on taking advantage of this if we can finish the weekend strong?

no doubt. plus the drive is 9 and a half hours, much shorter than i ever thought.

I did wait in line an hour to be front row for an NIT game vs TCU once...

Yeah that's nothing. You can get up not even that early in the morning and make it with light still out so you can find your way to the bars. This is sounding excellent, currently concocting a scheme to get ahold of these tickets from some stupid KSU student who "hates basketball."

well, that student who hates basketball has to have bought ICAT to get the first available. GA gets their shot like, four hours after ICAT.

I actually know a couple ppl like this. They don't really like going to the games but they have the tickets and just end up giving them to ppl.

Btw I talked with currie's assistane, Nate, today. He told me they only have 700 tickets available. No way they last past nine. Ga will not get any.

660 more accurately... He also said that not only does it cover the Final Four and championship games but he thinks it also includes the other Final Four game since it's a session pass.

Students have to have season tickets. We are only allowed to purchase one. We can't buy in groups. The way I understand it, we will be able to get on k-state sports come Monday at eight (if you are icat) and purchase one.

still deciding if i can go or not.. if i can't I can get two session passes and easily would be willing to sell them to you guys who aren't students. I don't know a college student who isn't strapped for cash.

Talked to the ticket guy, I think his name was Nate, and he informed said that he's under the impression that a student ID will be required to be admitted into the stadium with one of these tickets. He said that they will do their best to avoid people buying these and then selling them off for cash. So just a heads up to any of you trying to do this...
