Why wouldn't it be serious?  I hold out hope that KU football can one day win a conference title and with the basketball program always in contention a year of dual championships is something I hold onto.  KU football had a good few years in the last decade and I'm hoping that one day the cards will lay themselves out just right for it to happen.

I suppose if you were just making reference to this year than yes you would be correct KU can only dream of doing that.

K-State fans can only dream of being in the BCS Bowl/national title combo club one day.  Exclusive to only the elite of all elites:  KU and Florida.

Dude, we've already got a Big 12 title in track this year.  Basketball would be our 2nd.  Plus, we're kicking the crap out of K-State in football recruiting.  Old Balls will likely retire after a few more years of getting his crap packed by Weis.

It's amazing how much better we are than KU now.  It seems like not that long ago I was worried that they were much better than us.  Well, I guess that's the way the cookie crumbles as they say.

I will sit down and enjoy my favorite celebratory drink of Captain Morgan and A&W root beer.  Between each sip of my drink, I will smile and have a slight fist pump. 

After that I will probably enjoy a celebratory session with my wife.  KSU wins typically get her all riled up.
